On a sunny, warm day in January, I met Chris and Kristine in Rockville, Maryland, to capture their elopement! The two opted for a private courthouse wedding ceremony at the Montgomery County Courthouse. The couple also incorporated the bride’s Filipino culture into their day. Kristine looked absolutely radiant in her red wedding dress! Chris wore a traditional Filipino wedding shirt, called a Barong Tagalog. Their engraved wedding rings were also brought back from a recent trip the couple took to visit family in the Philippines.
The wedding ceremony was special and intimate. I love elopement photography because it is so personal and really showcases the bride and groom’s emotions on their wedding day! After they tied the knot, we had fun taking photos near the historic Montgomery County Courthouse. The joy on their faces was impossible to miss. Finally, we strolled to Rockville Town Square, where the two had met on their first date several years earlier! It was a great way to close out their special day and celebrate the start of their journey together.
Congrats on a beautiful wedding day! Wishing you two a lifetime of happiness 🙂
Beautiful as usual!!!!!
