Friday I covered the 14th annual River City Music Festival held in downtown Cape Girardeau for the Southeast Missourian. Held every year on the streets and in the bars of downtown Cape Girardeau, the River City Music Festival brings together musicians from all genres, from jazz and blues, to rock and country for two nights of arts and entertainment. Thanks to all the coverage, I’m now in love with the voice of Memphis blues singer Grace Askew.
