In August, I had the honor of photographing the daughter of one of my lifelong friends. Emmalyn had just turned one. She had also just learned how to walk, and the last thing she wanted to do now was sit still for photos! So since it was a beautiful summer day, we changed plans and went outside to let her run around and explore while I took some more candid photos. Emmalyn was much happier with this idea, and we were able to get some cute shots!
