It’s been nine years since the tragedies of September 11, 2001. To honor the day here in Cape Girardeau, uniformed members of the Marine Corps League, Corporal Mason O. Yarbrough Detachment, walked continuous sentry tours around Freedom Corner near Capaha Park and conducted a ceremony honoring the fallen men and women who have lost their lives serving the country.
